Aliza’s Philosophy
Life is a series of ups and downs.
It is through the experiences that we each have from the very beginning of our life and onwards that
we begin to develop our sense of self. Being a human being involves struggle, conflict, ambivalence
and confusion by definition. How so? Each one of us is struggling to manage the duality that
naturally exists within us. We hear it in our minds, sense it in our body, and feel it in our heart. It is
the struggle between
good and evil, right and
wrong, higher
consciousness and lower
consciousness, body and
soul. There is no escaping it
as every Human Being is
a combination of body and
spirit, and each sings to a
different tune. The inner
conflict created is the war
of illusion vs. truth, and it is
occurring innocently and
often unconsciously within
each and every one of us.
To the extent that Truth wins
over illusion, we will have
the experience of calm,
harmony, balance,
integration and therefore
health and well-being.
When illusion wins over truth
in our lives, we
experience feelings such as
anxiety, sadness, worry,
anger, jealousy, insecurity,
lack of self-worth, etc.
The most powerful weapon that each of us has is the ability to use our mind to be curious about the
war being waged within it. To understand our own unique inner battle is to be empowered to fight it.
Looking into our mind illuminates the enemy within. It is only when the enemy is unknown,
unrecognized and not understood that he has the ammunition to win the war. Conversely, our ability
to find him, learn more about him and how he grew into the enemy within us, unleashes our innate
ability to recognize him, consciously fight him and courageously win. We are hardwired for innate
health and well-being. All we have to do is learn how to recognize the enemy in our midst and use
our natural resources found within our consciousness to win the war. Happiness, balance,
integration and well-being are always just beneath the surface.
